I want to join this group to meet other outdoor enthusiasts, hopefully expanding my base of like-minded 50+ somethings in the process.
Backback,hike,long distance cycle and kayak.
I've visited France, England, most of the Canadian provinces (our son lives in Vancouver, BC, so I've been there a lot) Germany, Austria, Mexico and all of the Western and Mountain states.
My favorite place is "The Channels" in Enis Montana, where the confluence of the Galatin and Madison Rivers create just just about every trout fishing scenario imaginable - a fly fisherman's smorgishboard.
I'm retired so I volunteer, usually working with the homeless, alcoholics and addicts. I also spend a lot of time at our lake house in PA's Endless Mountains from which I fish, hunt, kayak, hike, cycle and swim. I also backpack a fair amount.
