I just moved to PA after spending 7 years in Arizona. In Arizona I loved to hike, backpack, bike, triathlon etc. year-round. People here aren't very outdoor-oriented, so I'm going through outdoor-withdrawal at the moment. Hoping to find out what PA has to offer. I also love to ski and snowboard, but not sure about east coast resorts.
Hiking, cycling, triathlon training, skiing, in areas around Philly (PA, NJ, DE).
I'm from France originally. Outside France and the US, I have been to the UK, Germany, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Switzerland, Austria, Slovenia, Czech republic, Greece... also Canada, Mexico, Costa Rica. In the US: most states including Alaska.
My favorite place? the greek island of Hydra. the colors (blue sky and blue sea vs. white houses) are just breathtaking.
Mostly, I plan future travels. Otherwise I teach and do research.
