The Delaware Water Gap is definitely one of the top two outdoor refuges in all of Pennsylvania. With the deep woods, majestic river, towering waterfalls and a great concentration of mountains to climb, there is no better place to spend our labor day weekend than camping here. Plus, this is an action packed weekend.
We will arrange a carpool for Saturday morning and find ourselves pitching camp by 11:00 or noon. After that, it's off for hiking. The hiking in the gap is truly splendid with waterfalls, turkeys, deer and the occasional bear.
Sunday and Monday offer even more adventure. . . You can hike or fish or ride. But, we are also sponsoring two other events. Sunday is rock climbing. Monday morning before we leave is kayaking/canoing the Delaware.
Camping with lunch and dinner Saturday, breakfast, lunch and dinner Sunday and brunch Monday is all just $80. Rock climbing ($55) and kayaking ($48) is extra.
Don't miss out. Camping is limited to 30 people and the first 30 to pay are the ones who go.
