This event is mostly planned as a training session for our own guides. But, since we know some of you will head off into the woods with your friends, we are opening it to a very limited number of members as well.

Our instructor Bill is a survivalist and wilderness lead extraordinaire. He is former head instructor for training in the Civil Air Patrol. That's right, if you were lost in the woods, he was the guy who taught and certified all the guys and gals who trained the search and rescue teams.

This class is aimed to provide basic skills to make your ventures into the wilderness safer. How do you make sure you come back with at least as many people as you went in with? How do you brief and debrief an expedition. What precautions do you need to take before heading into the woods with a group of friend following you. This course will cover all that and more with hands on instruction and real world skills.

This class is strictly limited to 20 people.  With 12 TerraMar guides going, that means there are only 8 spots available for members.  If you want to attend, do not delay.
