Pinnacle/Pulpit Hike and Hummel's Restaurant!
Operated by: TerraMar Adventures

Skill Level: 5 - Includes significant elevation change (1100 ft.).
Description: Join us for a hike along one of the best sections of the Appalachian Trail in Pennsylvania. If the weather cooperates, we'll get spectacular views of Hawk Mountain, the Lehigh Valley, and Blue Rocks. Rocky forest footpaths and abandoned roads follow forested mountain trails and mountain streams to a ridge-top boulder outcrop.
AT thru-hikers often claim the views at the Pinnacle are the best views in Pennsylvania, but it's no walk in the park! We'll get a great workout with all the climbing on the way up. But, once we're up, we're up, and it's well worth the trip.
After the hike, we'll hit one of our favorite local establishments - CJ Hummel's. It's a bar and restaurant with a lot of character, great food, and great specials, and some of the best fresh cut french fries you will ever have. We'll need to refuel after the hike without a doubt!
Clothing and Equipment: Sturdy hiking boots, sun block, raingear (depending on the weather), water bottle.
Directions: Carpool info and meeting spot directions will be sent to all registrants. The carpool will depart from a Philly location at 8am, and we should be back to Philly in the early evening.
