Description: Calling all Adventurers. This event is what our club is really about; Building a community to get together and share the the things that we love! We are going to get together to celebrate the arrival of summer.

Are you dreading your company picnic? Blow it off and come to ours. Trade in awkward conversation with your boss' wife for all the things that you love like hiking, disc golf, fishing, canoeing and, of course, a BBQ.

Carl is buying food and cooking out for everyone.

If you love adventure, you cannot miss this event!

Clothing and Equipment: Casual, bring sunscreen and bug spray.

Hello friends:

Here are the details for our BBQ on Sunday. Make sure to bring sun protection and bug spray. Two important things

1. Please please please, if your plans change let me know by tonight. I will be prepping for this event all day tomorrow and need to know who is coming.
2. A bunch of people have asked if they can bring something. If you want to bring something, bring a desert or something like that.

We are going to French Creek State Park. http://www.dcnr.state.pa.us/stateparks/parks/frenchcreek.aspx

We will meet at the boat ramp parking area just behind park office (Hopewell lake)

Remember, by the boat ramps. I will be there with a Banner. But, look for us by the picnic tables.

If you have any trouble, call me on my cell phone. 484-716-8331. Call sooner rather than later though because we likely will not have cell service in the park. If my phone does not work, you can try Jon at 610-202-9666

Plan on it taking 1 hour and 15 minutes to get there.

If you have not been on a trip with us before, you will have to fill out our release. It can be found here. It is easiest if you read/print and sign it before hand and bring it with you. If you forget, we will have extras.

Take 76 to Turnpike
Take Turnpike west toward Harrisburg
Take Morgantown Exit of PA Turnpike
Take Rt 10 south from toll boths
Continue to intersection with Rt 23 in Morgantown
Turn Left on Rt 23 East
Stay on Rt 23 East for approx 5-1/2 miles ( you will pass thru Elverson)
Turn Left on Rt 345 North
Travel approx 2-1/4 miles to South Entrance Road on Left
Take South Entrance Rd to Park Road
Turn Right on Park Rd
Pass the Park office on the right and then turn right into the Lake Hopewell area
