Learn wilderness navigation from the best in the business. The course is very thorough and taught by the very people who organize and officiate all local adventure races and train the top local adventure racing teams, who compete on a global level. The director used to be the guy who would train the people who train rescuers how to find people lost in the wilds of Pennsylvania. So, if you want to know how to navigate, these are the people to learn from.

Learn all about map work and orienteering. Course includes topographical map familiarization, course plotting, UTM use (do you even know what UTM is?), use of compass, pace counting, latitude and longitude, and compass work.

We will be at http://dsf.chesco.org/ccparks/site/default.asp.  Hibernia County Park- about 45 minutes outside of Philadelphia.

The Course runs from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Pack a lunch and dress for the weather.
